You’re ready to take the next step in your business and open up to the European or Anglophone market.  But is it enough to simply send your website content to a translator?

A professional translation will certainly be of excellent quality, but in the online world a translated website often falls short of the original. That’s because when you change language, you also change culture — which means the online behaviour changes, too.

From CTAs to persuasion techniques, I’ll go over your website with a fine-toothed comb, adapting it to your new audience, and making sure that you have scalable systems in place for future translation.

We all get a little nervous just before launching a new product or service. It usually results in hours of tweaking and re-tweaking until it’s hard to see clearly.

The same goes for redesigning a page we’ve probably read one too many times.

This short and sweet service addresses that. I’ll create the content for your page, making sure it fits perfectly with your brand, while ensuring it’s clear and simple for your users.

Today, your website is your business card. It gives your business credibility, inspires trust, and you can show the world what you do.

I use wireframes (basic sketches) to make sure that not only does your copy reflect your brand, but it also fits in and flows perfectly in an on-screen design. You’ll come away with all the copy needed for your website, ready to be implemented by your designer.

I work with a selection of talented designers, so if you don’t have one, I can certainly recommend someone for you within your budget.

What's included
  • A basic overview of your branding, products or services, and the goals for your website. These are all essential to create a coherent, easy-to-use website.
  • Basic wireframes (sketches) of each page, outlining the content that we will work on. This gives you a clear overall view of how your website will be structured.
  • Copy proposal for everything that will appear on your website — from your biography to your ‘buy’ button and everything in between.
  • 1 round of revisions
  • Communication with your designer to make sure the structure and copy fit together perfectly.
How it works
  • We’ll establish exactly what you want us to cover, and how much it will cost. This can be done by email or a free initial 15-minute call.
  • I will send you an online contract to sign, along with my payment details. I charge 50% deposit, and the remainder on the date of delivery. For large projects or small budgets we can look at payment plan options.
  • Once your deposit comes through, I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire to fully understand your brand, your products or services, and your goals.
  • At each stage, I will send you an update and ask you for feedback where needed.
  • Notes, questions and revisions are made via a shared Google doc. I’ll let you know when the document is ready, and you can comment in it directly through the comments function. This ensures fast and efficient communication, with the elements being discussed at hand.
  • If you already have a designer working on your website, I can communicate with them directly. If not, I can recommend a trusted professional from my network.

UX audits exist at high prices for larger companies and e-commerce websites. Often you need extensive data and to have been running for a significant amount of time before a professional will look at your website from a UX perspective.

 

But that doesn’t work for freelancers or small companies. When you’re launching your website, or starting your business, you need to have a user friendly website too, right?

 

Using my knowledge of UX and my experience of corporate scale websites, I translate that to work with what you have. Let’s make sure you can put your best foot forward, at the scale you’re at right now.

  • Easy to use spreadsheet that shows my analysis of your website, page by page. Here you’ll see what we’re talking about, how it’s influencing the user, and the changes you can make to improve it.
  • User experience video. You’ll see me using your website, talking you through my experience as I go along. This will help you see how a user is likely to interact with your website, identify pitfalls, and understand what works well.
  • A deep dive into the top 3 highest impact changes you can make right now, with the resources you have.
  • A 30-minute “ask me anything” call. I will answer any questions, discuss suggestions with you and help you plan your next steps.
How it works
  • We’ll establish exactly what you want me to cover, and how much it will cost. This can be done by email or a free initial 15-minute call.
  • I will send you an online contract to sign, along with my payment details.
  • Once your payment comes through, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to determine the main goals of your website. This should only take you a few minutes to complete.
  • Within 10 days of returning the questionnaire, you’ll receive your UX audit, and a link to book your ‘ask me anything’ call with me.
